Breast Cancer Awareness - Greater Mt Nebo Church

Greater Mt. Nebo AME Church and the Prince George’s County Health Department are teaming up to promote the importance of breast cancer awareness…..and with good reason. Far too many African American women are dying of breast cancer. Yet, early detection saves lives. To turn this tragic reality around, Greater Mt. Nebo is launching a year long campaign today to make breast health a priority among all its congregation members.

The good news is that this effort needs everybody. You can help deliver potentially life saving information and support to the mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters we all love so much. Combined with help from you, the Prince George’s County Health Department and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Greater Mt. Nebo AME Church is about to become a powerful agent of change when it comes to breast health.
