Girl Scouts Ministry
The Girl Scouts Ministry creates an accepting and nurturing environment where girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, Godly values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth. We are blessed to have the following troops: Daisy Troop #4091 (Age 5); Brownie Troop #2181 (1st-3rd Grade); and Junior Troop #1649 (4th-6th Grade).

Education Ministry
The Education Ministry supports and encourages academic excellence in everyone. Programs such as the tutorial program, annual college prep workshops, and partnership with one of the area’s local elementary schools are examples of the Education Ministry’s commitment to assist young people in their educational endeavors.

Boy Scouts Ministry
The Boy Scouts of America prepares boys to make moral and ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of Jesus Christ and the Scout Oath and Law. In addition, Troop 512 studies the history of the A.M.E. church, appropriate portions of The Doctrine and Discipline of the A.M.E. Church, The Biography of Richard Allen, and The Holy Bible.

Acolytes Ministry
The Acolytes Ministry assists the church in attaining a greater sense of reverence through our example of service and commitment to God’s house. Acolytes are members ages 7-12 who serve each Sunday morning and designated Holy Days by lighting the altar candles prior to the service and extinguishing the candles after the Benediction.
