Phase II of the development will include a much larger worship facility that will welcome over 3000 worshippers at each service. Its design will include two media rooms, usher and communion preparation rooms, 3 choir rehearsal rooms, youth and adult church school rooms, a bookstore, extensive administrative office space, music and literature library space, upper and lower fellowship halls and much more. 

 

 

By including an additional 30 plus classrooms this space will accommodate both church and the Greater Mt. Nebo Christian Academy needs up to and potentially beyond the eighth grade. 

 

 

Working with affiliate organizations the vision includes the development of a Family Life and Wellness Intergenerational Center. The purpose of the Center is to promote and develop the mental, physical, educational, and spiritual growth of families while creating a bridge between those families and the communities of which they are a part. The Center will provide a safe environment for youth, families, and seniors to come enjoy healthy, educational and recreational activities while offering a variety of life enhancing services. The 90,000 square foot center will accommodate a structured tutoring/after-school enrichment program, recreation activities for youth (especially teens) in the gymnasium and on the grounds, health education seminars in additional classroom space, fitness activities for all ages, HIV/AIDS and other disease management care services, mentoring programs, computer technology training, youth entrepreneurial and family counseling services and more.

 

 

In today’s economy, our senior adults are finding it difficult to keep their homes, find assisted living services or afford assisted living housing. The Greater Mt. Nebo vision includes the building of assisted living housing for our most precious senior community. This will allow the church to minister to all of the needs of this segment of our community.

 

 

Thousands of persons coming and worshipping God each Sunday; Children of every age receiving a quality Christian education including mentoring and tutoring; Seniors remaining an active part of the faith community with access to worship services and youth and family activities; Children and adults caring for their bodies by getting information and recreational exercise; and those who need it receiving the life saving health information and care they need when they need it.
